Jude and his twin brother Oliver were born 14 weeks early at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital and went directly to NICU-3. The boys needed ventilators for breathing, IV feeds, jaundice treatment, blood transfusions, treatments for infecctions, and critical medical care. Jude returned home after 81 days, and Oliver’s initial hospital stay lasted over three months.
