Kendra Scott Goes Gold, Gives Back

Kendra Scott has proven its motto “Shine Bright, Do Good” to be true.

UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital patients have greatly benefited from the generosity of Kendra Scott Give Back community-giving program and Kendra Cares creative arts program.

On October 15th, Kendra Scott hosted a “Give Back” in-store event at Butler Plaza where they donated 20% of proceeds to UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. The Kendra Gives Back community-giving program allows community members to host in-store events for causes and organizations that work to improve the health and wellness of the community.

Kendra Scott has supported UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital through their previous national partnership with Children Miracle Network Hospitals, and through local activations of in-store and online giveback campaigns supporting CMN Hospitals as well as Dance Marathon.

Most recently, the Kendra Cares program brought their magic and joy to the pediatric patients of UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Retail specialists from Butler Plaza set up the Kendra Scott Color Bar® in the Sebastian Ferrero Atrium lobby for patients and their caregivers. In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Kendra Scott provided a little extra sparkle to our pediatric patients in the hospital.

Patients eagerly left their beds to visit the Kendra Scott Color Bar® where they could design their own piece of customized jewelry at no cost. For patients who were unable to attend the event downstairs, the CMN team collaborated with Child Life to fulfill patients’ custom jewelry requests. The delivery of yellow jewelry boxes brought joy to patients and caregivers while giving them a break from their everyday.
