A YEAR IN REVIEW: Collegiate Dance Marathons raise nearly $4 million for local kids

AGAINST ALL ODDS, it’s OUR TIME NOW to make a difference LIKE NEVER BEFORE.

As the three largest events in our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals market, Dance Marathon programs continued with great momentum in making miracles For The Kids–even as the global pandemic continued. During the 2020-2021 year, the following collegiate DM programs raised an incredible $3,845,997.92 for the kids at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital:

Dance Marathon at the University of FloridaIn its 27th year, this program raised $2,270,311.40 raised for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Since its founding, Dance Marathon at UF has contributed nearly $27 million.

Dance Marathon at Florida State University: In its 26th year, this program raised $1,470,210.69 for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital and the FSU College of Medicine’s Pediatric Outreach Programs. Since its founding, Dance Marathon at FSU has contributed more than $17 million.

OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University: In its 8th year, this program raised $105,475.83 for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Since its founding, OwlThon at FAU has contributed more than $1 million.
