High School Dance Marathon Programs and Mini-Marathons kick off 2018!

Three of our collegiate Dance Marathon programs (Dance Marathon at Florida State University, Dance Marathon at the University of Florida, and OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University) have kicked off their High School Dance Marathon and Mini-Marathon seasons with a bang– raising over $121,000 in two consecutive weekends in late January- early February!

• Maclay School: $47,891.43 (30% increase over 2017)
• Florida State University Schools: $28,016.22 (100% increase over 2017)
• American Heritage School – Boca/Delray: $22,605.81 (first-year program)
• Dreyfoos School of the Arts: $12,867.51 (first-year program)
• Trinity Catholic High School: $10,112.79 (first-year program)

FSU, UF, and FAU-affiliated middle and high school programs will continue to fundraise for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, until the culmination of their respective university’s Dance Marathon event:

• Dance Marathon at Florida State University: March 2-4 in Tallahassee, FL
• Dance Marathon at the University of Florida: March 24-25 in Gainesville, FL
• OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University: April 7 in Boca Raton, FL

We will update weekend totals as they continue to occur in the remaining weeks of February and March. A tremendous thank you to dancer participants, students, advisors, and donors of these incredible K-12 schools (along with their supporting university’s students and advisors) who have been dedicating their time and resources for the benefit of local kids.
