Collegiate DM Programs close out an extraordinary season for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital

As the three largest events in our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals market, Dance Marathon programs at the high school and college level continue to make momentum in their miracle making efforts.

During the 2017-2018 year, the following collegiate DM programs raised an incredible $5,423,457.28 for the kids at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. This is a 13% increase over 2016-2017! Dance Marathon programs at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital have been growing exponentially since 1995 in both monetary support and student participation, and we are so thankful for your shared commitment to serving our local kids through your fundraising and leadership development efforts:

Dance Marathon at the University of Florida raised 12,424.66 in their first year (1995). Now in their 24th year, they have surpassed the $3 million mark and are the second-highest fundraising Miracle Network Dance Marathon program in the U.S. and Canada.
Dance Marathon at Florida State University raised 19,001.37 in their first year (1996). Now in their 23rd year, they have surpassed the $2 million mark and are the fourth-highest fundraising Miracle Network Dance Marathon program in the U.S. and Canada.
OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University raised $5,732.10 in their first year (2014). Now in their 5th year, they have cumulatively raised over $748,820.78 for the kids and have been one of fastest-growing programs in Miracle Network Dance Marathon history.

You all are truly one generation fighting for the next.
