A Weekend in Review: High School Dance Marathons and Mini-Marathons

Every year, more than 30 high schools hold their own dance marathons, partnering with the collegiate programs that support UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.

Congratulations to the following high school dance marathon programs who raised funds and awareness over the weekend for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals:

  • Oak Hall School: $6,106.34
  • St. John Paul II Catholic High School: $20,141.66

FSU, UF, and FAU-affiliated middle and high school programs will continue to fundraise for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, until the culmination of their respective university’s Dance Marathon event:

  • Dance Marathon at Florida State University: March 2-4 in Tallahassee, FL
  • Dance Marathon at the University of Florida: March 24-25 in Gainesville, FL
  • OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University: April 7 in Boca Raton, FL

We will update weekend totals as they continue to occur in the remaining weeks of February and March.

A tremendous thank you to dancer participants, students, advisors, and donors of these incredible K-12 schools (along with their supporting university’s students and advisors) who have been dedicating their time and resources for the benefit of local kids.
