Weekend in Review: Dance Marathon at FSU reveals $1.5 million for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital
We are so proud to announce Dance Marathon at FSU raised an impressive $1,554,156.14 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. In its 27th year, DM at FSU continued to show its commitment to “Change Kids’ Health, Change the Future.” Students were split into two teams — gold and garnet — during the three-day #NoMatterWhat celebration. The event culminated with a 20-hour shift.
Also this past weekend, six high school Dance Marathon programs combined to raise $115,721.64.
- Forest High School – $41,872.67
- Trinity Catholic High School – $25,128.62
- Olympic Heights Community High School – $19,586.04
- Vero Beach High School – $14,323.73
- Leesburg High School – $10,020.74
- Belleview High School – $4,789.84
Dance Marathon at UF and OwlThon FAU-affiliated middle and high school programs will continue to fundraise for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital until the culmination of their respective university’s Dance Marathon main events:
- Dance Marathon at the University of Florida: March 26-27
- OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University: April 9
