Walmart & Sam’s Club contribute nearly $400K

Walmart and Sam’s Club associates went above and beyond to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.

During its 35th year of fundraising for CMN Hospitals, Walmart and Sam’s Club stores in the Gainesville, Tallahassee and West Palm Beach areas experienced one of its most successful miracle balloon campaigns. Associates raised more than $348,000 during the four-week campaign. They showed their support by offering sweet and savory treats, ranging from cotton candy to hot dogs and cheeseburgers.

The highest fundraising location was Sam’s Club 4998 in Lady Lake, which raised more than $22,000. This store also experienced the largest year-over-year increase of any location within our market. Walmart Supercenter 3307 in Crawfordville led all Walmart stores by contributing more than $15,000.
