Total Tuesday Update – March 4, 2025
The fourth Total Tuesday announcement of the 2025 Dance Marathon season is here! Starting back on Feb. 11, each week features a Total Tuesday reveal, which includes the amount raised by local middle schools and high schools during their Mini Marathons. The Mini Marathons lead up to the Dance Marathon events at Florida State University and the University of Florida to help raise funds and awareness for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
Over the weekend, Buchholz, East Ridge and Vanguard High Schools raised a collective $54,207.03.
Totals:
Buchholz High School (Feb. 28) – $7,524.78
East Ridge High School (Feb. 28) – $17,525.42
Vanguard High School (March 1) – $29,156.83
Tallahassee State College* – $6,309.05
* While Tallahassee State College was unable to host a DM event, their Dance Marathon team raised money that contributed to DM at FSU’s total.
Dance Marathon at UF and DM at FSU-affiliated middle and high schools will continue to fundraise for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital until their Dance Marathons events. Florida State held their end-of-year event from Feb. 28 – March 2, raising an impressive $1,334,457.78. UF Dance Marathon is scheduled for April 5-6.
Thank you to our dance participants, students, advisors, and donors at our K-12 schools – along with our college students and advisors – who are dedicating their time and resources for the benefit of pediatric patients at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
