Report of Blizzards from South Georgia to South Florida
We hope you all enjoyed an exciting Miracle Treat Day as means to both satisfy your ice cream cravings and support UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital! More than 29 locations in our submarkets from South Georgia to South Florida participated in this year’s Miracle Treat Day on August 2, 2018, and $1 or more from every Blizzard sold will stay local to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. We are grateful for the support of DQ employees, Ambassador families, and our local communities for their help in making this day a success.
Since 1984, DQ and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals have partnered to provide life-saving treatments to kids from across the U.S. and Canada. To date, more than $135 million has been raised through donations from DQ Fans and franchisees, all of which stays local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. For more than 10 years, the DQ system has celebrated Miracle Treat Day. Thanks to the generosity of local DQ stores and its supporters, over $2 million was donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the United States. These donations help provide support for over 32 million patient visits each year to local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
