Phi Mu celebrates connection to CMN at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital on Phi Mu Day

Phi Mu Fraternity, a national partner for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, consistently demonstrates their commitment to the well-being of young patients at children’s hospitals throughout the year.  

Since 1986, Phi Mu has dedicated their efforts to raising funds and awareness for member hospitals of CMN Hospitals, and for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, three chapters of Phi Mu showcase their dedication to advancing children’s health each year. In 2018, Phi Mu kicked-off a 5-year, 10-million dollar pledge and completed it early in July 2023.

The bonds between the organizations grew even stronger when members from University of Florida and Florida State University Phi Mu chapters joined forces with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital for a celebration during Phi Mu Day. The FSU members enjoyed a tour of the children’s hospital before the UF chapter arrived for a special program highlighting the partnership between CMN and Phi Mu—showcasing exactly how their efforts brighten the lives of countless young patients.

CMN at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital is grateful for the partnership shared with Phi Mu at UF, FSU and Valdosta State University. The efforts and dedication of their members serve as a strong reminder what is possible when we all come together for children’s health. Thank you, Phi Mu, for helping make a difference!
