Miracles in Motion: Emma

“I was in the second grade when I knew I wanted to be a nurse who worked with kids. I remember wearing crazy tall socks and suspenders to school and thinking I could wear that same outfit to cheer the kids up in the hospital each day.

I always see what my brother is going through and what so many other kids are going through. And I see what their nurses are doing to help their lives, and that’s another reason why I want to be a nurse. I already know how to set up feeds and change oxygen tanks and help Nate put on his bipap. I think that will help me in nursing school.” – Emma, sister to Nate, CMN Hospitals Ambassador
