Florida Rx Card Proudly Supports UF Health Shands Children's Hospital

Florida Rx Card is a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Each time a prescription is processed through the Florida Rx Card, UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital will receive a donation. Florida Rx Card is a statewide prescription assistance program and all Florida residents are eligible to have their prescriptions processed through this prescription savings card.

Recently, Florida Rx Card visited UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital for a check presentation. Last November, team members from Florida Rx Card spent an afternoon making crafts with pediatric patients with assistance from the Child Life team at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Last year, over $11,000 has been raised for the most immediate needs at the local CMN Hospital. Thank you, Florida Rx Card for all you do to support the children and families who receive care at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital!

“As regional manager of Florida Rx Card, I am overwhelmed with passion for the services we provide to anyone in need of affordable medication, and what brings it home for me is our partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” said Adrianna Habash, Florida Rx Card regional manager. “Being able to provide a service to those in need is one thing but to help our local communities and ensure the children receive their life saving treatments brings it to another level. In 2017, we raised $11,954 for UF Health Shands, which is only the tip of the iceberg,” said Habash.
