April 14: Wawa Day for CMN Hospitals
Celebrate Wawa Day with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital!
In April 1964, Wawa opened its first store in Delaware County, Pa. 58 years later, Wawa celebrates its anniversary by giving back to its partners, including CMN Hospitals. Wawa is generously giving $100,000 in gift cards to support fuel/food needs and family assistance programs.
That’s not all! In celebration of Wawa’s new flavored lemonade, Day Brightener, the organization is making an additional $25,000 contribution to CMN Hospitals in support of its 17 hospital partners, including UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. This gift will support Child Life Services and its continued dedication to helping pediatric patients and their families cope with the stress and anxiety of hospitalization.
