Total Tuesday Update – Feb. 11, 2025

The first Total Tuesday announcement of the 2025 Dance Marathon season is here! Beginning today, Feb. 11, each week will feature a Total Tuesday reveal which includes the amount raised by local middle schools and high schools during their Mini Marathons. The Mini Marathons lead up to the Dance Marathon events at Florida State University and the University of Florida to help raise funds and awareness for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.

Over the weekend, Oak Hall and Wakulla High School raised a collective $16,587.40, joining the $7,467.54 raised by Deerlake Middle School on Dec. 5, 2024.

Totals:

Deerlake Middle School (Dec. 5) – $7,467.54

Oak Hall (Feb. 7) – $13,573.23

Wakulla High School (Feb. 7) – $3,014.17

Dance Marathon at UF and DM at FSU-affiliated middle and high schools will continue to fundraise for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital until their Dance Marathons events. Florida State will hold their end-of-year event from Feb. 28 – March 2, while UF is scheduled for April 5-6.

Thank you to our dance participants, students, advisors, and donors at our K-12 schools – along with our college students and advisors – who are dedicating their time and resources for the benefit of pediatric patients at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
